Urban Eats Morrison is the “son” restaurant of Eric Neas’ mom, Jessica, who has owned and operated Urban Eats in DeWitt since 2019 after working there. Jessica has been in the restaurant business as long as Eric can remember and always wanted to own one herself. Today she loves having Urban Eats. After years of talking about bringing it to Morrison, Eric and his wife, Stephanie, decided it was time to bring Urban Eats to Morrison in 2024. They are thrilled to build off of what Eric’s mom started.
Stephanie was born right here in town at Morrison Community Hospital and has lived here her entire life. Eric was born in Massachusetts, raised in Minnesota and moved to Clinton, Iowa, during high school. That’s where the two met. They settled in Morrison knowing it continues to be a great small town where they wanted to raise a family. And they are doing just that. They have five children — MaKenzie, Izaak, Noelle, Evelyn and Eric Jr. — along with four dogs and three cats. In the bit of free time they have, they enjoy going to their children’s sporting events.
Eric and Stephanie are excited to bring healthy, homemade food to Morrison. They can’t wait to see people from this community and the surrounding area coming to enjoy lunch with them!

Just like you, we're local. We have a stake in our community, and you'll always find friendly faces in our restaurant and when you see us around town.
Freshness is key. We source as many of our products as possible from local farms to ensure we're serving you delicious, fresh foods you will enjoy.
At Urban Eats, we're serving fresh food, prepared daily right here in Morrison, Illinois. You'll find amazing, healthy options, including gluten-free.
